why did this happen?
it just DIED !
i only got it couple of months ago:(
any help ?

it "was" a sony MP3 player, not an ipod, & nope it's not the batteries

What make/model is it...can't help without that info...and PLEASE don't tell me you were silly enough to buy an iPod.

Not an iPod thankgod! Do the Sony MP3 players have a reset-switch anywhere...it may well simply need rebooting (ie, resetting)

Otherwise, being only a couple of mths old, it should still be covered under warranty if all else fails :)


*EDIT* Just checked a couple of reputable forums I belong to and yes you should have a reset switch...although the consensus is that you may well end up making good use of it more that one might like - most models seem to have a bad habit of freezing as such...sorry to bear bad news :(

Buy a new one. Prefer a quality one. Use carefully.

send it 2 tha comp, hopefully u have tha warranty.... or try resetting it or buying a new battery..... good luck!!!!
