In your pocket you have £10.48. It is made up of four different denominations of coins. There are exactly the same number of each coin and the largest denomination is £1. How many of each coin is there are what are their respective values?

I think 8.
8 * 1 = 8.00
8 * 0.25 = 2.00
8 * 0.05 = 0.40
8 * 0.01 = 0.08

total = 10.48

Usually you need to have more info regarding the coin value. Makes the algebra nicer.
