I'm of the eastern variety where it's just past 3am, and actually, I just woke up...I haven't had a set sleep schedule since I was about thirteen or so.....

2:30 in the morning. Central wisconsin USA.
Can't sleep. If I close my eyes the ghosts from the past come out to haunt me. I have several friends names on the Vietnam wall and it disturbs me to think they are gone.
I worry for all the soldiers now in combat.
Will they end up like me?
sitting at some pc in the wee hours because they have too many haunting memories.
Squeeking by on four hours of sleep because they don't go to sleep until they are exhausted and have to wake up in time to head off to work.
What the hell are we doing to our young people? Again!

Well it's 12:15 am in Seattle and I'm awake because my fiance is with his son in the hospital and he's been calling with updates and I just can't sleep without him next to me, sounds a bit co-dependent LOL anyway What are you doing up so late?

well, jesus. it's 2:35 AM, and i'm laying in bed on my laptop, listening to "The Greatest" by Cat Power, drinking a dr. pepper, feeling a bit sad/hungry...while my boyfriend sits at his computer playing a video game. i am a loser of sorts at the moment.
