Please ignore the rude people. They don't represent Americans, just sad little people who need to feel better by insulting others.

American people are incredibly diverse; different immigrant groups and families have brought with them multitudes of traditions and habits which combine in different ways to form American culture. Different parts of the US have different general traditions, speech patterns, food choices, and even within those regions, families, groups of friends, and other people may have their own choices.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usa is a great place to start reading about the United States. This page has introductory geography, history, and culture, with many links to more detailed information.

Best of luck to you!

Try reading the 50 states of USA through Microsoft Encarta Kids, 2006. It is nice to start reading first with the state that you consider transferring. Be sure also that your papers are ok before you transfer here. If it isnt ok, then it is better to stay there where you are now.
In most states, the population is not merely pure Americans. There is already a mixture of culture. Like for example in San Diego & Los Angeles, since it is near the last American exit, that is near Tijuana, then there are a lot of Mexicans already in these areas.
Americans are usually fond of eating food on the go or fastfoods. This ranges from hamburgers, pizza, chicken! Since Mexican culture had affected USA, then burritos, tacos are also in. There are also Chinese restaurants around, common are on the go Panda restaurants! Chinese restaurants are common in downtown San Francisco, eat all you can everywhere!

Hi! Here is a site : http://www.zompist.com/amercult.html
It is pretty much very accurate....just scroll down a bit on it for the information.

Its cool that you want to come here, you will be welcomed! But to answer the questions you asked (in case the site doesn't because I can't really remember)......food varies from region, but I live in the south and this may give you an idea :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_US_cuisine

Dinner time is usually around 5 I think for most people, or at least the people I know.

School usually starts around 8:00 in the morning and ends at 3:00 in the evening, give or take a few minutes. And we only go to school 5 days a week...if you are at school on a Saturday that usually means you have been bad and have Saturday detention.

Good luck!

Hi, Your English is very good! Nice job! However, when I listen to your entire video, it is obvious you are not a native speaker. Pronunciation, fluency etc. are what separate a native speaker from someone who has learned a language. You can imitate an accent all you want, but there will always be certain words you stumble with. This is because you are a non-native.

Just go and you will see soon enough. You may even know more about the US than most americans. A lot may vary on which part of the country you are in.

B.T.W. You mean you are "Iranian"?

America is called the melting pot.. there is no correct answer to any of your questions.. we are all different.. do different things at different times.. there are no preset expectations of any of us.. except maybe taxes and perhaps loyalty to our country.. you dont need to know anything to come to america.. the only way to fit in.. is to just get here and start meeting people.. and if you are crazy or Radical Islamist.. stay there.. we have plenty of your kind here already..
