I also have a chunky, white discharge. I don't think that I'm pregnant but how will you know if you are. I just wanted to get some medical advise. For people who do not believe in abortions,I'm sorry if this offends you but I had a very tramatic event that happened to me where an abortion had to occur or my life and my child's life would have been at risk! Thanks!

I'm not still having sex though for the a$$holes out there! The main ones saying mean things are usually the main ones who ain't s#*t and don't have s#$t in there lives. I can't save a 4 week old baby that is making me sick where I was bleeding for 4 weeks straight! Now what bulls#$t so you have to say? You talk about people wanting kids, but look at how many kids grow up in the system and never have a happy home! Don't judge because everyone sins!

I would see a dr. Sounds like it was a very traumatic thing for your body to go through, especially if it was late. I wouldn't play around with it or wait around to find out.

First of all, sweetie, don't even dignify those sanctimonious pricks with an answer, they aren't even trying to answer your question and it is not their place to preach to you.
Second of all....I used to work in a clinic, and it can take about 10 weeks to start a cycle after you abort, whether it be an elective termination or a spontaneous abortion (miscarriage.) The discharge is more than likely normal, and I wouldn't worry about the lack of a cycle just yet. If you want to put your mind at ease, call the clinic or office where you had your procedure done, and if they can't answer all your questions by phone, they should make an appointment for you, with little or no charge since it will be a followup.
Good luck, hon, and don't let the bastards get you down. You did nothing wrong, and the law is on your side regardless of the reason you made this choice. You don't need to justify yourself to anyone.

I wouldn't worry about what people say, they just have no idea, my cousin and another friend had to had one is else either the baby or they would die, they had other children so why take the mother away from them. Some people are so stuck in their way of thinking and abuse people who they have no idea about what they are going through, you are so right, there are lots of children out there who not well looked after and worse so why critisize you considering it was your life at stake. Not sure about your discharge but I think as long as you have no hemorraging you should be fine, a doctor sounds like a really good idea if you are worried. I hope that helps :)

You need to go see your doctor because your hormone levels arent right and they need to do blood test to make sure it is dropping some. As far as the abortion thing dont let anyone on here talk to you like s*** because you had to save your life to and continuing the pregnancy might have ended in two lives being lost instead of one.

Go to a doctor and ask. If you can't see a doctor soon enough, then most places in USA and Canada have health information available by calling a nurse on the telephone, who can then advise you whether you need a doctor. Try calling your local hospital or medical clinic and ask to speak to a nurse.

Dont worry you dont have to justify your actions. You did what you thoguht was best and needs to be respected. Its a hard decision to make as it is without everyone freggin moralising you. Id check with the doctor to be sure but after an abortion your body has a little hiccup so it takes a couple of months to return to regular periods.

It may take several months for your estrogen hormone levels to drop enough to have a menstral cycle. Don't worry about it til January at least. When you don't go through labor, your body doesn't produce the androgens that cancel out the estrogen so it will have to subside slowly..

What woulda happen that your baby woulda been at risk ?Or was that the risk you didn't wanna take , couldnt risk your baby breathing ? By all means kill your baby rather then have heath risks... Next time you have sex .. try birth control or rubbers... or hell get fixed to where you can't have kids.... stop killing your babies !
