An ingrown hair is a hair that has turned around into a U shape and is growing back INTO the skin. It can be caused by shaving too close or without a sharp enough blade.

eh..i think sort of, but a black head forms with dirt in a pore that is already there, and an ingrown hair makes itself room to grow in..gross!
