Bravo, Lemon Tea! I agree, and no it's not the worse time in history for men, and it never will be. :-) It's just that things are improving for women now, and some men just can't accept that. C;mon guys, ust be independent and accept the fact that many women don't appreciate being "controlled" anymore.

As long as men accept positive change, and accept that women are people too. People who have thoughts of their own, can make decisions without his permission *rolls eyes*. Learns to take responsibility for yourself, instead of depending on women to take care of him. If he wants a mother, why didn't he just stay home? Stop blaming women for your own mistakes. Even before feminism, men have been known to blame everything on women.

Perhaps you just have to learn to accept yourself as people, instead of blaming women for your own anger.

No one is doing any castrating except yourselves. Women aren't interested in taking what belongs to you. Stand up and be a man! Positive change is good for everyone, not just women and children.

I suspect that the men who whine the loudest about feminism, are those types of men who just can't take care of themselves, so they try to control outside forces. For instance, they're used to women being uneducated, unintelligent, and stay with them even if they beat them. Ack! Could that be true?

Every time is the worst time for everyone. Ask any generation. And to some extent it is true. For example an 8Th grade history student today has a hundred more years of history to study than an 8Th grader of 1900. Of course the kid today has the Internet and the kid in 1900 had gas lighting. I'm not trying to be a wiseguy, just telling it like it is. All this sort of stuff is purely a matter of perspective.

Maybe not the worst time to be male but definitely not a good time to be one wither.

Feminists have taken everything too far. They have in effect castrated men and if your are one of them you know there is nothing that you can do about it.

There should be no more funding for women's groups. It should be equal. It should be men's and women's groups. The statistic of men being battered are about equal with the women.(Think of all the one that go unreported because men have no where to turn)

I really hope to see men starting to stand up for all the injustices that women have served on them. There needs to be more of a fight in this. You guys just lie back and take it. Stop doing that!

There is never a better or worse time. You have to play the hand that you're dealt. Just because there are feminists, etc, out there,
doesn't mean that you have to be a (figuratively) castrated man. No one can cut off your balls unless you drop your pants, lie down meekly, and let them. And I'll be damned if anyone is going to force THAT on me. If you think it's bad for yourself, or for all men, then get up off your butt and go do something about it. But do it in a positive manner. Indeed, that's how the feminists got THEIR start. They said, collectively, "THIS IS BULLSHIT AND WE AINTA GUNNA TAKE IT NO MORE!" That's how ANY kind of social change happens.

I'd have to say it was near the end of WW2 when Russian and Japanese soldiers were forcing their enemies to rape their own families. Such as sons and mothers, or fathers and daughters. Even that of the dead. It was the worst time for women as well as the men, I believe. Worse for the women though.

Affirmative Action law discriminates against white males.
WWII or during Vietnam was probably a worse time to be a male of any race.

I don't think so. Things haven't been all that great for males throughout history even if they've had the chance to run things.

If you consider all of history, I'd think this may be the best time in history to be male.

Absolutely. Women are the worst species on earth, seriously, and up until now they were bearable, but with all their feminist crap (even though we're the ones being held down now), and female rights, etc etc. We've got it worse than them now.
