Well, he's a grown man, if he has a little too much to drink once in a while, it's no big deal. I'd have fun with him, make sure he's safe, and help him to bed, have him sleep on his stomach so he doesn't choke on his own vomit, and keep a bucket by the bed (just in case) I'd keep him watered because alcohol can dehydrate you, and I'd give him some Tylenol for the headache that will appear soon. I don't believe drunkenness is something to worry about in a person who isn't an alcoholic or a binge drinker. Some people get a little carried away every now and then, no big deal.

Depends on whether you can deal with the situation or not. If there is some behaviour that you are unhappy about, tell the person however I recommend maybe the next day, not whilst they are intoxicated. Dealing with the situation while they are drunk may lead to an unpleasant confrontation. Should your partner care for you, they are more likely to take on board what you're saying when they are sober.

Not sure what you mean. Do you mean

1. How can you tell if your partner is drunk?

or

2. What do you say to your partner when he/she comes home drunk?

If it is number 1 then you can usually tell because they stink of alcohol, slur their words, can't walk straight and fall asleep wherever they are!

If it is number 2 then you might as well wait til the morning before you say much. Then it depends on the circumstances i suppose and how you feel about them being drunk. Honesty is always the best way to go!

Nothing because drunken arguements are the worst and lead to pointless fights. Also, it'll only make your partner get more drunk next time theyre out as the think it'll annoy you. Just be calm and help them and have a laugh. If you have an issue, raise in a few days when the time is right

Depends on how often you come home drunk - people in glass house and all that . If you don't get drunk there is not much point talking to someone when they are drunk - if it's a problem leave it until the morning.

Depends how they got home, did they drive themselves, cause I would lay into them for putting their life as well as others on the line to drive home instead of taking a bus, cab or getting a sober friend to drive.

Now, if they come home drunk..which is once a year here and it is a pre planned event with a cab..I hoped that he had a good time. It isnt every weekend..and if it was I would certainly wait until her sobers up to tell him he has issues..

How come you're not drunk too. That and you should say, "I'm glad you made it back, make sure and drink a glass of water before bed, munchies in the fridge."

Drink is fun and getting drunk is not the end of the world. Stop being over-sensitive!

Say it like Stewie, WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? Then tell him/her next time they want to go out and get drunk with the buddies/gals, that you want a cameraman there. Seriously, don't worry about it, if it doesn't happen much, then let him/her enjoy the hangover....
