I have done some research online but I still need a little assistance. In March, my family..between 8-10 of us are surprising my 80yr old grandmother with a trip to Vegas. I need a hotel that accomodate us all...and one thats close to the strip as she can't get in and out of cabs because she is confined to her wheelchair most of the day. I have read reviews on Jockey Club Resort and most of them were more towards the negative. Any other suggestions? We are looking to sleep 5-6 to a room. We are all grown so no really wants to have to sleep in the same beds. So maybe 2 bdrm w/sofa bed all in one room.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

The Signature at MGM. It is a little pricey. A 2bdrm (which is a one bedroom and a jr. suite together) may cost you around $3000 for 5 nights. The nice thing is there are kitchens there. It is a beautiful property that Granny really would like! Take a look at www.tripadvisor.com.

http://www.budgetsuites.com Has 4 locations in Las Vegas...$329 per week for a 2 bedroom, with kitchen(they also rent per night/per month)...It would cost you a lot more than that per day at a hotel/casino for a 2br suite...For the difference you could rent a vehicle...The Budget Suites at 4405 W Tropicana is only 1 block from the Orleans(4500 W Tropicana)..There is another on Tropicana closer to the strip and then one on the strip but it's south of the hotel/casinos..

Take comfortable walking shoes if you're going to try and keep up with your grandmother...

this is a great site for info on Las Vegas

Sounds like Embassy Suites might be your best choice.
It is NOT very close to the strip
You can get suites in most of the hotels, however they are quite pricey
Call the Monte Carlo and ask them to quote you a price
Also, contact the MGM directly (they have 3 bedroom suites)

The Rio is all suites, the Venetian is all suites...Jockey Club is nasty...don't go their - Granny will not like it one bit!

With 8 - 10 people though, you are going to have to get more than 2 bedrooms...that's pretty cramped.
