stop it already! what's your point really? you keep on questioning our intelligence? what makes you so sure that the path you are taking is the right path? why don't you just live and let live? is that too much to ask?
it's sickening.

who's saying that i am trying to be a representative of christianity? what i am so against is that you arrogant people are questioning our intelligence. and about turning the other cheek, i am not a practicing christian, but i didn't turn my back on christian beliefs, so might as well, ready your other cheek!

hi, i just want to say that i am not a practicing Christian myself. i understand your sentiments fully about the questioning of our intelligence. who's to say that they are more intelligent and enlightened? try to calm down, they get in my nerves too, but try to ignore them. if you can't, just let them ready their other cheek. lol. goodluck!

There are a lot of sickening things that go on in this world and complaining about it to a general public only subjects you to more criticism! It sounds bad but it's true you're opening a can of worms that's going to upset you even more! I agree with your 1st and 2nd answers. If some Christians kept their boundaries and accept that they can't change everyone opinion, especially by "nagging"(sorry for the negative term) non-believers with their beliefs. People see Christians as being overbearing people who judge more than help non-believers. Don't be so quick to judge people as a whole. Some non-believers can be extremely harsh but that is just ignorance. A word to the wise those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. That is a saying that can be expressed to all without any religious beliefs or offense to those who don't believe. We are all sinners or none of us are perfect and that's the reason we can't judge each other, so everyone who has a problem with what someone else has to say or what they do with their life, needs to get a grip and stop worrying about what others do if it doesn't directly affect them! I'm so tired of giving this same speech, some people are so tied up in how others live their own lives, that theirs is just passing them by, why would you want that to happen???

ouch! everyone wants to answer this one. well, for starters, you should really try not lumping everyone into categories and saying that all this do this and all that do that.
with that said, people are mean and i really doubt that anyone knows for sure that the path they are taking is the right path (yourself included). i am a christian and a very strong christian at that, but i still falter. it's called being human. people are never going to live and let live-- you just proved that.

Everyone picks on everyone...an friend of mine who is a Christian will sometimes jokingly pick on non-believers to prove the same point you have(those of us who know him, know that he's not being serious)...there will always be conflict on all sides of the belief issue...it's just something that many people haven't learned to live with and get along despite it.

i think of there is a lot of "supply and take" from the two ends of this argument. Christians (or self professed Christians) are consistently attacking non-believers, as nicely. of direction, you may basically see it out of your perspective. Christians have been decrease than attack from all facets for the time of historic previous (as have Muslims, Jews, Protestants, Buddhists, etc.). people have an inclination to confirm issues from their very own perspective of that for the time of their particular team. faith is the inspiration for a majority of all conflict from guy or woman to guy or woman as nicely as substantial international conflict. it quite is not a question of respecting others' religions, it quite is a controversy of FOLLOWING your very own.

Why do Christians keep sticking their noses into the lives of non-believers?
Just leave us all alone.
Is that too much to ask?
It's sickening.

Well... You only add fuel to the fire when you post things in the wrong categories... Most 'non-believers' look to intellegence rather than G-d as a guideline in their life...
ndstrss (below me)-"who's to say that they are more intelligent and enlightened?"
Um... Wait... It's coming to me... I think I have it... Ahhhh, yeah... That's right... Christians! I knew I knew that one.... They are, after all, the only ones entitled to enter into heaven. No?
To the chickie that posted the question - No one has even come at you in a threatening or forceful manner. You're the one with the over abundance of exclamation points... Live for who you are... But if you don't really want opinions and answers to your questions... You're probably better off not asking them.

Not all non-believers do that. In return though, some Christians need to stop pusing their beliefs on non-believers. Now that's sickening.
