One weary day as I sat typing
A message came up my hard drive was wiping
I pressed and pressed control alt delete
But nothing would happen. A total defeat.
My wife sat there smiling a computer widow
as I sat there crying CURSE YOU WINDOWS!
Then I sat up panting and looking around
The walls, the windows of my bedroom I found
T'was all a dream, a nightmare more like
Curse this addiction I don't want to fight. ;)

Why can't I come up with a simple poem today?
I've tried several times now, but they've all gone astray.
Perhaps it is too late, I should be in bed.
Perhaps my meds are making me hazy in the head.
Maybe I just have nothing to say,

It's about time to make a rhyme.
We stumble and fall when we stand too tall.
They came and went, like dust in a vent.
Symbols of capitalism and not of freedom...so dumb we've become that we can't tell right from wrong.
Give me liberty, but give me the truth...for it will set me free.
And free is where I want to be.

yesterday i saw a butterfly
it looked at me and flew on by
i had a dream about that butterfly
it yelled at me and made me cry
i vengefully sought out that butterfly
i captured it in my jar and it told me a lie
it said...i did not make you cry...
why dont you let me free and ill show you why
so i naivly opened the jar and it flew so high
it laughed at me, i let out a sigh
why do butterflies always get by
