Bush has apparently called Indian PM and told him that he can be either with Mr. Shawaiz of Venzuella or with him? Then Bush hanged and baged the phone. He apperntly warned Indian PM to be ready for dire sequences! Is this news true? If so what were the exact words of Bush?

Pl get the spelling right of Venezuelian President, its Mr Chavez. Now the answer of your question-

I am now aware anything like that happened. But if such incident has taken place its unfortunate.Heads of states do not call and fight like street-dogs and bang phones the way you have mentioned. But Bush is Bush and hence assuming you are right, I must say that REAL POLITIK plays a larger role in international relations than emotions .Whenever it has happened otherwise, it has resulted in catastrophe-remember Afghanistan,Iraq .

India needs oil and any country with such large crude reserve cannot be ignored. This country had friendly relations with India and both belong to Non aligned Movement(NAM).In realpolitik, friend of a foe is not necessarily a foe.

Coming to the dire consequences,it must be said that India has survived not because of US , but despite it.Remember first 45 years of post-1947 era, B'desh was won despite US support to the aggressor.India was always at loggerheads with the neighbours and US was always in another camp.

Presently US needs India more than the other way round.India is home for big US corporations which are doing brisk business there .Outsourcing benefits US more than it benefits India.Even politically, India could prove to be a balance for emerging China militarily.US is well aware of its 'friend' Pakistan's connections with the terrorist groups.India works like a cushion here.

I dont think so....
And certainly not they way 2 heads of state talk to each other....

Bush did call up the PM and apparently spoke about the Nuclear deal in the context of the mid term elections and the lame-duck session and the North Korean crisis.
Chevez, Venezuela would probably be the least of priorities between both of them.
