maybe you're putting on a public "show" of patience for acceptance? maybe you don't accept/respect your child for the individual he/she is? maybe you see some behaviors in your child that remind you of yourself or someone else who annoys you?
you can teach yourself to be more patient with your child. he/she deserves to have a parent who is kind and patient unconditionally. parenting is a life-long commitment. it's easier and healthier to develop the skills you need now, rather than spending years trying to undo the harm that you might be causing now. think back to your own childhood...you can probably remember someone being impatient with you, and having it hurt your feelings.
i know what impatience feels like, i raised 3 children alone. one of them being adopted, and severely mentally ill. chill out and think before you speak or act on your impatient feelings.

Well I know most mom's when their children are not listening and miss behaving that they feel like failures. With other children when they are away from their parents they will behave better because with children their mission in life is to drive their parents crazy so when they are with someone else they will behave better because they aren't mom and dad.

Your kids are your responsibility, you know however you discipline them will determine how they turn out. Other people discipline their own kids, obviously, so its simply not your responsibility to get stressed out by them. Plus, being annoyed with someones kids infront of them could be insulting.

Cos you don't care how other kids behave, they're not yours, so even if they're bad, so what? you don't have to take care of them or give a ****. With your own kids, they're reflection of yourself, so you want them to perform the way you perform or even better.
