it doesn't have to part of a holiday, me and my husband have a tradition/rule that I put in our vows over 12 yrs ago and that is that we will NOT go more than 48 hours without sex lol. It's worked so far, except for when he's deployed (that's outta our hands) :(

My girlfriend and I make love by the fireplace at least once a month. Turn off all the lights and have a romantic night together by the fire. It's a night where we don't worry about bills or money or shopping. It's a romantic night just for us to be together. It must sound corny to other people, but it's great to have a romantic night by the fire. No TV or DVD's, just us. It's great to reconnect like that.

For me, it is a holiday, Thanksgiving. Somehow, it is the one holiday that doesn't seem to have changed that much over the years. Christmas got way too commercial/controversial. Thanksgiving is about being grateful, instead of greedy. Just thinking about it gives me a warm fuzzy, any time of year.

Every Friday I take my kids and let them buy a new movie. And, every Halloween, after trick or treating, we all go to MacDonald's and get a happy meal. Kind silly now that one of them is 13, but it's a tradition.

Going to amusement parks in mid-late October;riding rollercoaster over & over without getting off ... nobody goes to the amusement parks when there is a Football game .... Weeeeeeee.

my partner and I have the nirving family xmas feast on xmas eve and its always kfc!
another thing my mum does is give the bday girl's sister a small present on each girls bday.
another thing is to watch national lampoons xmas vacation every xmas adn to read the grinch book at xmas.
