depends on what you need it for, if you are a history major or english, and all your saving is term papers and WORD documents then a 125 mb should be fine, if you are an art student and saving large files like photoshop or illustrator than you really want 512mb or 1 gig even. Smaller drives dont pay more than 20 dollars, larger drives dont pay more than 50. Oh yeah, wait for sales or specials, and dont fall for "mail in rebates" they take too long to be worth it. Also save your stuff on there and the computer. Dont have your only copy of that important thing on your flash drive, save on your flash drive and your computer, why not?

I just bought my boss a 2 GB flash drive at Best Buy for $50. If he didn't need it right away, I could of got the same one online for about $35-$40. It is getting very common to see 4 GB drives now too.

Flash has no-shifting areas, HD is speedier in writing. the two are extraordinarily sturdy in write velocity, yet evaluate Flash in case you foresee injuries forward and don't recommendations abandoning lots of area.
