I'm currently using Revlon foundation for combination/oily skin. When I apply it on my skin, it makes my whitehead and pores become obvious when i look closer into the mirror. Is it normal? If its not, what foundation is best for me either than bare minerals because there's no such brand in my country. What should i do either than scrubbing my face as I already tried it but didn't work well. And..does anyone know..why do I still look Ugly no matter how hard have I been trying to hide this uglyness?

Make- up is really one of those things where you get what you pay for. An initial outlay of a bit more cash for Estee Lauder or Lancome (provide great natural coverage) lasts so long & requires such a little bit with each application that it ends up costing about the same as the cheap stuff in the long run.
Also Revlon & similar brands will actually worsen skin problems. Go to a good department store's make up counter & tell them you want a clean, natural foundation with good coverage. Concealer too, applied first. Let them make you over. They are trained & usually quite skilled at matching your skin tone for a clean, healthy look.
If you aren't crazy about the first make-over, come back & get one from someone else. For what it's worth, Lancome waterproof mascara is the best one anywhere, hands down. And I love their Bifacils make- up remover for the eyes. It does a thorough job with no stinging or burning. Have fun & try it, you will be amazed at the difference a high quality make -up is, & you'll never go back to the drugstore stuff!. Have fun now =)
BTW, you aren't ugly, you are a real human person. Don't look too long at those magazine models (they are airbrushed to a flawless perfection) or movie &TV stars( they spend HOURS being created & touched up for every shoot)-without keeping that in mind. They wake up with zits & under eye circles, morning breathe & all of it just the same as any of us.

Ok so like i know this is going to sound weird...but yes you have oily skin. You need to use a little home remedy that isn't as glamorous as avocado and cucumber but it works. get some toothpaste and cover your face with it. Stay away from the eyes. It kind of burns at first but then it gets really cold and you can feel it opening up your pores. Let it sit for about 5 minutes and wash it off. Take a look in the mirror. You can see where it cleaned. You will have a little redness at first but it will go away in a minute or two. Ok Now about the foundation problem. look in the covergirl section and find the foundation that says on the box for oily skin. I used it. Its really good. It will cover everything. Covergirl has foundation for all types of skin and your in luck it has the one you need. Revlon is unfortunately made for people who are already perfect.

I recommend you try Everyday Minerals makeup. EM will ship to any country, so where you live should not be a problem. You can order free samples from their website--just be prepared to pay for the shipping. Everyday Minerals is very smooth and covers very well. Just remember that "less is more." Too much will look really bad (I found out the hard way!) Also, they are much cheaper than Bare Minerals, but still very high quality. You can get more information on their website, http://www.everydayminerals.com

L'Oreal has a product called "Bare Naturale" that is very similar to Bare Minerals, only less expensive (about 1/2 the price) and, in my experience, offers better coverage.
