Honestly the Rolling stones were the better band, but Lennon was the greatest genius of either band. So the Stones and Lennon, and I'm stickin to it!

Beatles or Stones? Stones...they were always more real than The Beatles. "Exile On Main Street" is the raw rock and roll album "Revolver" wishes it was.
Lennon or Jagger? No contest...John Lennon. He WAS the ******* Walrus, alright. Great goddamn singer, too, which is more than I can say for Jagger...Mick Jagger missed his calling, he should have been Richard Simmons...

The thing is, if the Beatles were still making music, and the Stomes were half dead (oh, they are half dead!), would you still think of the Beatles as you do today? The Beatles had/have more melodic songs, and their lyrics were/are much stronger than the Stones could wish to be.

Beatles all the way! Their music was the best. Come one, the stones are good but I seriously don't think they match up to the beatles. And then the beatles went their own way and created great music as well. Beatles are most people's favorite.
