No. I won't believe even if 100 people said here that they had encountered ghost - I would rather advise them to go see the mental curator.

I never had an encounter with ghosts and have always questioned if they do exist. Here in Hawaii, there are a bunch of ghost stories and legeneds around the islands. However, my mom, uncle, aunty, and grandparents say they all have encountered Pele. Pele was said to have been the volcano goddess of Hawaii and taken the form of a woman in a white dress. About 30 years ago, they said they had seen a woman dressed in white riding near one of the abandoned roads, when they passed her they saw she was pale white. But when they looked back, she mysteriously vanished. Personally I think it's all bull, but I won't rule out the possibility because I don't have enough proof.

Yes I believe in ghosts. I have seen or sensed many ghost, I would rather say spirits though. My Mother passed years ago but I still sense her near me, she watches over me and my children. But there is also a private graveyard close to my home and the headstones are dated back to the early 1800's and I saw a man running from that direction and I wouldn't have thought much about it except he was dress oddly. He had on a white blousey kind of shirt with puffy sleaves and he had on buckskin pants. A couple of weeks later my Grandson's girlfriend was sitting on my livingroom couch and sit up quickly and said I just saw someone walk past your kitchen window and when she discribed him it was the same one I saw. So yes I am a believer.

It is possible that the life energy of living beings exists as a residual image, or imprint on the space-time manifold and continues to exist for a time after the physical form dies. This is speculation on my part though.

Without proof, it's just fanciful thinking. Because the bible says so or because of hearsay and anecdotal reports is not proof. That's not to say they might exist, but with our current knowledge based on scientific fact and empirical evidence, the answer is no.

Sometimes I do, when I'd like to think that family members who have passed on, are here with me. BUT, then I quickly get the creeps, and hope that if they are there, they only look and don't try to freak me out!!
