zip codes are required to be entered by weather forecasters so that I can plan my journey .

ZIP codes are for US addresses. If you are trying to get weather forecasts for the US, you can go here http://www.noaa.gov/ and search by City and State rather than ZIP code. Good luck!

In India there are only PIN codes, but no ZIP codes. Pune is NOT a TOWN, it is big city with 3 million inhabitants.

There is no ZIP code. Check to be sure you have checked India and not left USA as a default somewhere. If that's not it, you can try entering 99999 or 00000 or enter the postal code 411___, but you'll probably have to try the site help page.

yeah, we have PIN codes here in India.
pune is a huges city and has different PINs for differnt parts. u have to be specific about the part. the PIN is a six-digit number and all pune numbers start from 411_ _ _,

I don't remember if it was - 8 derka backa - or - 8 backa derka. Dang. Wait - does India even have zip codes? Maybe coordinates, but do they even have weather forecasts? ...... crazy.
