is there anyGOOD but cheat makeup that looks brand name?

Covergirl has pretty good makeup...but you will have to touch it up if you have oily skin. If you have oily eyelids, the shadow will crease. Maybelline has excellent mascara.

MAC is good (and my fav), but it's not cheap. The Hip eyeshadow is comparible and it's by Loreal. You can even find it at Walgreens or any drugstore. The best foundation, even better than the High End stuff...and I've tried most of them, is Revlon's Colorstay liquid foundation or Revlon's Colorstay with Softflex (it is a lighter formula). For mascara...if you want beautifully thick lush lashes...curl them first...then apply Maybelline's Lash Stylist mascara. It has a 'comb' instead of a brush applicator. If you want a lipgloss or lipstick just as good (well pretty close) to MAC's Lipglass brand, then believe it or not...Wet n' Wild lipgloss w/wand applicator (walgreen's again) is the best! I get compliments for days on mine, and my shade is usually out, so I buy two at a time whenever I can find it. Wet n' Wild also has glitters and tons of eyeliners...you name it...And CHEAP...girl....trust me...I'm a Make Up Junkie. :)

Nothing looks brand name but brand name, but there are alot of good cheap makeup brands that are good. Try the new Hip makeup that creates higher intensity looks without as much makeup.

i love covergirl!!!!! everything(almost everything) i use is covergirl except i use mayballine mascara (great lashes). althought thonight i just bought l'oreals infalliable liquid foundation thats supposed to last 16 hours (but it doesnt just a gimic) tonight since i use covergirl up to quickly. I liek the lo'real infaliable since the lightest color of foundation of covergirl is still to dark for me to where i have to put it on my neck so i dont get that line around my jaw lol and lo'real has lighter shades that are more suitable for me =) but everything else about covergirl is good though

you can go on covergirl.com and they have make up matchers and tools as to what shades of eye shadows and blushes and eye liners would look best on you too. but if you have fair skin then look to lo'real for the foundations

usually covergirl sells for like 8 bucks per lip stick, as well as maybeline, i only use my covergirl and maybeline for good occasions, not just to go to the store or anything, wet and wild is usually cheep prolly 1 buck for 2, and in my opinion it looks preety good compared to covergirl or maybeline

i use cover girl and i look fine. but for things like the essential elements of the cosmetics ethics complicated, varied world, i use fancy stuff. :-D

The eyes shadow colours make my bf freaking out :P
