Any team that lets Bill Bellichick go is probably literally cursed from here, out to the End of Eternity.
They also have the worst colors, worst uniforms, worst logo, worst name, worst appearance in the NFL, (AND on top of that they are from CLEVELAND!). That cannot help them at all! People never seem to understand that self image is vital for a football team. They get it when you talk about individuals but not with teams.
They SHOULD have gotten the message when the Browns, (after almost a century of hopeless futility) moved to Baltimore, became the purple Ravens and promptly won a SB, that something was seriously wrong with the teams image and presentation. They didn't get it at all.
Look at the teams that have changed colors, logos, names, uniforms etc. and suddenly changed their luck: Bucs, Oilers-Titans, Browns-Ravens, Broncos, Rams, Patriots and Seahawks.
Those teams with silly or ugly, logos/colors/uniforms/names, can ONLY survive if they have real success on the field as a team i.e. Pittsburgh, Green Bay, SF, Redskins, Vikes.
Those who are silly or ugly and have NO success will find themselves perennial losers: Browns, Jets, Cardinals, Saints.......

I could go for pages on this , I grew up in Akron ,Ohio and now live in L.A and to this day am a die hard and will always be a die hard Browns Fan I wish I knew why they sucked so badly , This year it is obvious that the main problem with the Browns is the offensive line , If you cannot run basic run play how effective can you be , not very ! Its hard to tell how good or bad Frye is because he really does not have time to do anything he is always running for his life or he makes a bad decision and throws an interception.
They have solid offensive weapons especially at wide receiver and tight end Winslow he will probably go to the Pro Bowl this year he is number 1 among tight ends as we speak , also the defense is rock solid , its just the offensive line they are crap , if we do get the number 1 or any pick in the next draft they should find a way to shore up that horrible line , that's all we really need and to keep everybody else in place except the offensive coordinator Carthon I think he needs to go , anyway I have gone on enough , Its going to be another long season but that's ok I'm Browns Fan I can take it one day it will all come around and happy days will be back to Cleveland !

2. Poor Decision Making by the QB
3. Lame offense play calling
4. Defense spends too much time on the field
5. They can't win in the division
6. Inability to win close games
7. Bad decision making in the draft
8. Injuries
9. Salary Cap Management
10. Every year is a rebuilding year!

I don't know, but just think that when the other Browns who are now the Baltimore Ravens moved out from Cleveland, they won a Super Bowl...perhaps the Browns are cursed or destined for failure....Honeslty, I think this team shouldn't have been made up again after the first team moved to Baltimore....The Ravens are now a great defense team...Also just think about Bill Bellichick who was head coach at Cleveland, now, he has won 3 super bowls with the New England Patriots...who knows, once again, I just think they are cursed.

Let's start at the top. The owner , the V.P., head coach ,asst. coaches ,players.
there is no consistency. there is no identity. they change philosophies as much as players.
you ned a good base to build on and they keep getting a new base.can't build anything like that.

they need to get an identity and keep a coach for more than three years and let him established his system you can't be chaning system every 3 yrs look at the colts the steelers and the eagles
