Well, since you most likely have PCO not POCS (poly-cystic ovaries, poly-cystic ovary syndrome) you've a higher chance of conceiving, the irregular periods you need to talk to your doctor. Most women with PCOS have a chance of having infertility problems because there is a possibility that they aren't ovulating. Now, lower abdominal pain can be caused by something else, so the best suggestion anyone could give you would be to go to a licensed physician. If you don't have insurance, I'm sure your local Planned Parenthood could help you out. Good luck, even though I think it would be a bit early to tell. I'm not a doctor, just a girl who has went through almost the same thing.

Yes you could be pregant, but it could also be a lot of other things. My suggestion would be to wait two or three weeks and take a pregancy test. IF the pain worsens and/or persists, or the pregnancy test comes up positive, I would say go to the doctor and see what they have to say.

My wife says sure you could, but you won't know for another 5-7 days at which point you should take a test or go to the doctor.

could very well be... you had unprotected sex 14 days after your period, which is at your height of fertility..
