Let him chew on a frozen baby spoon, the kind with the hard rubber on the end. It helped my son. Just buy a couple spoons and when he starts fussing give him the spoon. Put them in the freezer and before you let him have it rinse it off so that it doesn't stick to his lips...ouch! Before long you'll see some choppers! Good luck.

We used teething tablets if the pain was small, orajel if the pain made him cry ( and yes, the orajel doesn't taste good, I tried it.), Tylenol and orajel(ask Doctor for the dose) If the pain made Him scream. But nothing worked the day before He cut the tooth. He would scream if anything even touched His face.
there are teething toys that are freezable, I'd recommend those, or the frozen rag is good. My friends parents used the fat end of a peeled frozen carrot.
Here's a site with tips....

Teething tablets are good, they disolve in the mouth and are all natural. You can buy them at any grocery store in the baby section. Teething rings are good if your baby will take them. If not wet a wash cloth and put it in the freezer. My baby liked that because he could actually chew it (the teething rings seemed to be too hard for him). Also, he seemed to like me to rub his gums. Good Luck!!

Those little teeth are putting pressure on his gums...and that makes him want to bite down on them.
If you want something quick and cheap to try...
Freeze a wet clean washcloth.
Put him in his highchair and let him go to town on it. Rub it in his mouth on his gums, rap it around your finger and let him chomp on it.
I gave my little girl infant Tylenol, but check with your doc on that.
You can also give him a clean finger to chew on...if he bites down on something that relives the pain a little for him.
Teething rings didn't work for us...
I used the baby orajel, night time and daytime, she hated it..it does taste nasty, but worked like a charm when she was fussy before she went to sleep.
Good Luck!!

They make these really neat mesh feeders. Put some ice cubes in them or frozen food and give it to your child. They make teething a breeze. Also, let your little one suck on some frozen waffles. Just be sure to take it away when it gets too soft. Here is a link to that mesh feeder.

Have you tried one of those soft Chewing rings??
Pop them in the refrigerator to chill it down!
I used to use My Finger dipped in Brandy-then rub it on my sons gums!(NOT very often-but it did pacify his pains)

Hey charlene this has happened with many of my baby cousins before. i dont really think its teething, but then again it might be. dont worry, this behavior will only last for a little while.
dont give him/her oragel just leave him/her be. you can give it something safe to chew if thats what he/she likes
