that's it! who do you think is the better rock guitarist of the both of them? really tough choice, i know. I can't even give an answer. can anyone help?

I'll have to say Hendrix. I know someone who is a huge Page fan and thinks he is the best ever, So we go back forth on it. I like page too the only thing I can't stand is his solo's. I hate repeating riffs. I know Hendrix would use them to and that's OK, a little bit is fine but Page will do the same repeating riff for way to long and way to many of them. The thing about most repeating riffs is that they can be played over most chords so it is kind of less intelligent way of playing. Don't get me wrong there are alot of page songs I like and the solo in stairway to heaven is bad ***. It just seems to me that when page plays his solo's he is not paying attention to the beat where Hendrix was playing smoothly with the beat making some smooth sounds which I like but that's only my opinion. Page made some awsome riffs for making songs and if it were not for his solo's I would not be able to decide between the two.

Jimmy Page, definitely. Jimi Hendrix is praised for things artists before him had already done.

Wow a decent question for once..alright well since this question is close to impossible I'm gonna say Page, based mostly on his facemelters and the famous "Stairway To Heaven" riff. Not to take anything away from Hendrix though, they're both excellent in their own ways.

Hendrix hands down. Maybe if Page went on all the drugs too then he might compare. Hendrix is in a league of his own and no one will even come close.

Not even a comparison. Hendrix wins hands down. No one has even come close since. Jimmy page was a good guitarist, but he doesn't evn come in second on my list.
