i am starting a new job in one day and i am beyond nervous..im used to working as a nanny so im not used to working with so many people..im working in retail starting in one day which is something i have never done working sales floor and hardlines..anyone know what exactly you do in that position? and any advice as to how to make a good impression on my co-workers

Be personable to customers and co-workers. Be yourself...trying to impress can backfire and be taken the wrong way. Do a good job at the duties you are expected to do.

Try to be like a friend to your co-worker and try to remember that your customer is your master, face them with smile face and try to solve problem of your customer.

be willing to help your customers and co workers..if you are finished with your task, offer to help someone else.

You help customers. They should train you. Just be yourself. That's all that you can do.
