Its funny how that works huh. I have been divorced for almost 7 years, and me and my ex are very good friends now. I can honestly say that I do love him, but not in the same way as before. Its like he's still family. As time goes on, our human nature is to block out the bad stuff as much as we can, and remember the good stuff. My ex was horrible.....abusive, mean, nasty, neglectful, he even tried to "get with" my 14 year old sister. I don't really think of that stuff anymore. That is probably what is going on with your brother.
On the other hand, lonleyness sucks, and some people don't deal with that very well at all. That could be it too.
Love is a trip!

Not in a 1000 years would I ever be 'In Love' with my EX-Wife again.
Not after 3 hellish years of Physical, Mental and Emotional *Abuse* that she gave me!!
Yes, even us Husbands get Abused from Wives. I am a prime example.
Thank the LORD, I found a very very Mellowed-Out Wife. Happily Married now for 6 years. = )

Its not love that is making him want to take her back. He needs to find something or someone else to take his mind off of her, and to help him move on. You need not to understand it; you can help him by just being there for him..... even if it bothers you! When he is ready he will move on.

Because he didnt find any one better than her (his ex wife). It means that their divorce was not right and justified.

thats why they all say love is blind. ur bro's situation is just one of those examples. and i have known men whom have been separated with their wives or gfs, but would still consider taking them back in a heart beat. it could be love.. it could be desperation. I think its more of a desperation.
