I want to take the morning off work tomorrow. I have a full-time job, a part-time weekend job, and I'm taking 3 graduate-school-level night classes, and I'm completely burnt out!!

What's a good last minute excuse for not going to work until 11:30 a.m. tomorrow?

Wow you have a full plate there! I am very impressed and amazed. If you are feeling burned out then maybe you should just take the whole day off. If you do not give your body rest you can end up really really sick. Would you rather have one day off to rest or end up having to take a few days off because your body gave out on you. Get some sleep! Oh and keep up the great work!

Depending on what you do your options are endless. I managed by telling my employer that I had bad diaria. Maybe if your employer is a women she could relate to some "female issues". What else.... Once I got away by saying the truth. Eventually no matter how good the excuse your employer may not be so forgiving next time. Try to restructure your schedule but as a quick fix come up with a good lie that will not get you fired.

Try something that you dont want to explain in explicit detail. Spastic colon is a good example. Say you have a flat tire, that will be of some use. Jewish Holiday? Family emergencies are a way to go. Fake illness is a classic. I hope this helps :D

tell em someone broke into your house and stole a bunch of sh!t including ur car keys. the only other person that has spare keys to your car is your mom, dad, or other family member but you have to wait til they drop the keys off during their lunch break (11:30 AM). i have used this excuse for 2 different jobs. worked both times! LMFAO!!!!

I know someone at work who at least 3 different times has given the excuse of going to a funeral. I don't know if he's actually gone to one or not. Maybe.

Consider it a preventative strike. If you relax--and it sounds like you need it--you could build up your immune system and NOT get sick later.

Simply call in and tell them you're not feeling well, you witnessed an accident, you're waiting for a repair person, a close relative is ill, your car won't start, etc.

get a hold of some benadryl, take twice the recommended dosage, then follow that up with half a pot of coffee all right before going in- itll make you look all stuffed up and swollen, then theyll not only not be angry with you, but theyll also admire you for still going in!

u could say there was a car crash and the road was crowded, i took a different road to work and got completely lost,or you could say you had a long night freeze and slept in. a night freeze is when your body is not awake and you can't move but you can open your eyes and think.
