Who won independence for Latin America along with Simon Bolivar?

I recently holidayed in South America and every other town either had a statue of Bolivar or San Martin. Theye were the leaders of the indepenmdence movement that fought for independence from the European colonialists ( a bit like Washington and others in the USA).
