Hello,

I agree with Cooperbry! I am doing Real Estate as my second job (not as a part time). That implies that I am doing it with equal sincerity and dedication as I am doing in my first job. Let me give other views about this.

People used to working on 10 tasks at a time, will do the 11th without any pain. Someone doing nothing will have the 1 task to do and may not be able to deliver.

I studied Real Estate while I was doing my MBA. I was working on my first even that time. I just appeared for exams, helped my friend who was in Real Estate and was doing MBA with me. I later switched jobs so I did not practice much in Real Estate. But later on as I came to terms with my other job, I started working Real Estate and in my second year of operation I was awarded the 2005 Centurion Agent award.

Most information on Real Estate is now available on the internet. Most transaction related solutions are available on the internet. I even have my fax come to my email. So except for Counselling, showing properties and doing open houses, I typically don't have to get out during office hours at all. Transactions, queries, voicemails, sending listings, doing CMA's and most other activities can be done off the internet and I can do those during hours that do not use my regular day.

I have solid financial skills, done my MBA and have a passion for Real Estate. My work discipline and networking makes it easier for me to do business. I keep a tab on good referrals to get work done and my clients benefit by using my perspective. In general I provide my clients with a greater preparation right in the beginning, that helps them decide quickly, give them a good understanding of the process and helps them pocket money that they would otherwise waste by taking long cycles to decide.

So it would be up to you to work with a person with sound understanding of real estate, or if you just cared for "Full time" or "Part time".

Feel free to comment, shoot more questions and I'll be more than happy to respond.

Disclosure: I am a Licensed Realtor in California with Century 21 El Camino, Sunnyvale, CA.

Apparently being a Realtor is great money when you sell houses. But it is not an easy way to make a living with out hard work, dedication and connections. They work totally on commission so many who are not dedicated to it, have another job. I personally would choose a Realtor who does it full time, it is kind of having your foot half way in.

You have to ask yourself several questions about your situation.

#1 Would you deal with a doctor who worked parttime as a doctor, but worked at the post office as a 2nd job?

#2. Would you deal with a lawyer, who worked at Home Depot as a 2nd job?

You are suppose to be working with a professional who takes his/her profession seriously, not someone that is still learning the trade or have not decided what profession they want to be in.

The bottom line is you get 2nd rate service from a part time person.

In answer to your question, I would not use a part time Realtor or any other part time professional.

I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.

all realtors at the instant are not a similar. it extremely is like asking if all docs are a similar or all attorneys are a similar. it extremely would not rely once you are the least high priced domicile on the industry on your highway. is your place priced in accordance to what has offered on your highway or community interior the final 3 or 4 months. in the adventure that your husband priced the domicile bigger than what the realtor gave you comps for, then nicely...it extremely is your own subject. i've got walked far flung from listings whilst somebody have been given emotional with reference to the cost of their domicile. in the event that they do no longer cost it interior 10 to fifteen% of the standard comp...i do no longer take the itemizing. it extremely is not worth my time and attractiveness. is your place a "keycall" itemizing or an "appt. basically" itemizing? that makes a great distinction, has your realtor accomplished any promoting for the domicile in a close-by paper, craigslist, and so on. if it extremely is relatively been 6 months and your house is PRICED properly and you have had no provides, you ought to get a clean realtor.

Absolutely. In fact, if they are working part time at it, they may be motivated to give you good service (they want to make money). Most of the things that realtor's do can usually be done after normal business hours anyway. Good Luck.
