I live in northern West Michigan and want to find a better place to take My 5 & 10 Yr. old(s) for halloween. great decorations, candy handers dressed up, children being polite, and most of all, a place that is magical that will make my boys' eyes light up!!!! ummmmm. every mothers' dream right? great ideas welcome!!!!thank-you! best answer:......10 POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Find the nearest college campus….. Most of them open the dorms so the kids can go up and down the halls trick or treating… the college kids have fun decorating the halls to see whose floor can look the best. They give out lots of neat things not only candy. It’s a two fold idea for you are not only out of the cold weather you are in a safe and fun environment with your kids.

come over to my aunts house in " the rich neighborhood" bUt seriously look for houses that are decorated nicely this means that they took the time to decorated there house wich more than likely means that they took the time to go out and buy candy.

You could try the mall. They usually have great turnouts. Also check with local restaurants they often do fun things. One other option is a fall festival at a local church or community center.
