For awhile now, I've experienced pain during sexual intercourse when it's doggystyle. Any other position, everything is normal. However, when it's doggystyle, it hurts so bad. It was never like this before, but this has been going on for a few months...any ideas on what could cause this? I used to love this position, but now i'm starting to really worry

I went through it too, and found sex excruciatingly painful a few years ago. It didnt matter what position i had it in. I investigated it and went to the doctor before being referred to a gynocologist.

I found out i had a cyst on my ovary + i had endometriosis. I had a laparoscopy (surgery that burnt the bad cells away) and the cyst burst by itself. It took about 3 months before i enjoyed sex again.

Go to your doctor, im sure he can look into it for you and refer you if he has any concerns about your uteran health. Good luck

ok, doggie style is usually a great position for deep penetration. Maybe your cervix is sore or infected? It could also just be a tear on the lining of your vagina. If so, than just don't do it for a few weeks, maybe even a month. If the pain comes back, or if it is still there, see you OB/GYN. They should be able to run some tests and get things sorted out. You also could just have a really sensitive cervix... Whatever it is, good luck!

Ever been checked for a tipped uterus? Talk to your GYN Doctor about it. Maybe a change in position for a while...until this is figured out? Good luck!

Never heard of a UTI causing it, but yes, check with your Dr. I only had that problem if the guy was too big.

Sometimes the uterus shifts position and sex is uncomfortable.Just try to relax the more you dread it the more you will become afraid just start off slow and see if that works.

that sort of pain sounds like maybe your partner's size could be bigger than you are used to? Although if he is the same partner for awhile then you need to go to the doctor and get it checked out.

sounds like a UTI take some cranberry juice or a cranberry pill for about a week will clear it up

there must be something internally that gets in the way or gets "bumped" only in that position. you may want to check with your ob/gyn just to make sure that's it. hey, that's why they're there! good luck and party on!

Try another position, if the guy your with really loves you, then it shouldn't matter how you have sex.
