The first song that comes to mind is "Do You Feel Like We Do?" by Peter Frampton, the second that comes to mind is "Summertime Blues", by the Who from "Live at Leeds" and the third is "Baby Please Don't Go", by Ten Years After at Woodstock.

"Friends in Low Places", from Garth Brooks' "Double Live" CD - the third verse is only available on the live version:
"I guess I was wrong/I just don't belong
but then I've been there before/everything's alright/I'll just say goodnight/and show myself to the door/hey I didn't mean to cause a big scene, just wait 'till I finish this glass/then sweet little lady, I'll head back to the bar, and you can kiss my @$$".
Also, "The Thunder Rolls" from the same CD is great:
"She comes back down the hallway, and through the bedroom door, reaches for the pistol/kept in the dresser drawer/tells the lady in the mirror/"He won't do this again"/'cause tonight will be the last night/she'll wonder where he's been"

Definately Fleetwood Mac - Landslide. The version where Stevie says "this is for you daddy".
Not only is it simple, it shows the brilliance of stevie nicks' songwriting and Lindsey Buckingham's guitar playing. It is volnerable, and beautiful.
I believe this is the best female vocal of all time, and it is on a live recording.
In a word, it is brilliant

"Great White Buffalo" by Ted Nugent
The studio version of this song is nice. It kind of rocks but it's nothing special. However, the live version, off of "Great Gonzos" I believe, absolutely kicks ***. The crowd is going wild throughout the song.
"It was the leader of the land baby, oh my God, the Great White Buffalo! Look out! Look out!"
Trust me, the live version rips.

Depends on what genre of music, you want... however my favorite live song all-time is... not really one, but it is an album which is MTV Unplugged Nirvana.... In that set, I say "Something In The Way" is the best song that was live.
