If it was less than $10,000, no problem--take it home.

Otherwise, be very careful. Check with a bank in NV and see if you can open an account or transfer money to your home account even though you are in a foreign country. Tell them your problem and see if they can help you.

There are serious limits to the amount of cash you can carry internationally. You should consult a lawyer, bank or importer in your country to be sure there are no issues with your country's laws.

Another option is to go to a bank and get a cashier's check. Again, tell them what you are doing--I'm sure a bank in Vegas has heard this problem before and can tell you the best action to take.

You can take it home after paying the taxes, depending on the amount you win is the amount of taxes you would pay. You would also need an i.d.
