About the game "tag" being banned from school yards?

This is true. Parents are frightened of their children "getting hurt" and schools are afraid of law suits.

Just one more reason to think "what the hell is going on with the people in this country"! My frustration is hard to contain......

I learned something new today! I personally think that it stinks, and that kids should be aloud to play tag; what is the problem with this game again? Looks like it is time to get a let our kids play tag petition going! It is a fun game and they get wore out playing it. LOL my kids all want to take a nap when the get home from school 'cause they play hard at school. I'll have to ask my kids teachers if it is banned where I live.

aint just tag my dear-recess has gone to along with playground equipment-cause the kiddes might get hurt & then the parents would have to sue the school & manufactors of the play ground suff-please give me a break

What a ridiculous thing that is. But hey there are no longer swings in my local park. Maybe they think it is dangerous and are worried about insurance. Still silly though.

The parents that complained were probley the slow azz kids when they were little lol. they also banned dodge ball at my sons school it sux

For the life of me I can't figure out ; WHAT'S UP, any more with these people, turning our kids into pussycats and suing everyone, Joy is receding for the lust of money.

it's stupid...people should let kids be kids and leave them alone. they just want to play. all of these stinkin' so-called educational psychologist get their pesky noses in kids games and bother the hell out of them. they need to deal with real issues....which are their own.

i think its silly, maybe they should take away the monkey bars so that kids dont monkey around too much and get hurt! theyre kids- theyre supposed to run around- we complain to them about video games, and then steal theyre recess games, too!
