"I don't think being a minority makes you a victim of anything except numbers. The onl y things I can think of that are truly discriminatory are things like the United ***** College Fund, Jet Magazine, Black Entertainment Television, and Miss Black America. Try to have things like the UnitedCaucasianCollege Fund, Cloud Magazine, White Entertainment Television, or Miss White America; and see what happens...Jesse Jackson will be knocking down your door"
"I am sick of "Political Correctness." I know a lot of black people, and not a single one of them was born in Africa ; so how can they be "African-Americans"? Besides, Africa is a continent. I don't go around saying I am a European-American because my great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather was from Europe I am proud to be from America and nowhere else"

Andy Rooney said it on 60 minutes
I though it was interesting, what do you think?

The absolute truth.

I'm so tired of reverse racism.

All those organizations do is DIVIDE us all even further.

It's not a crime to be white and it's nothing special to be black. We're all just human.

White history month now, or get rid of all the other ones. Fair is fair isn't it?

Only if you're not white.

I am not opposed to any of these organizations if white ones similar to them were allowed to be run. I know there are a plethora of institutions at white people's disposal, but I meant being able to be arragont enough to call it something like White College Fund and the only people that could apply would be white. Untill that day, they are all nothing more than PC-garbage.

They are "African-Americans" because they kept on complaining about being called "black" even though Caucasians like myself are still called "white" and don't complain one peep about it as far as I have ever heard. I wish for one day they could go around the country into the trailer parks and see that there are white people living in poverty just like them so that they would stop feeling sorry for themselves. If you want to be called African-American, fine, but would it be too much for you to at least learn one of the dialects from Africa? And I don't mean Ebonics, that's a lot different.

He often wants people to think about thoughts we take for granted. I agree with him in this. Everyone is subject to some type of discrimination - you should be my religion.
Few people have lived through it. If you are over 50 & Black you were discriminated against but it is time to get over it - we can not change what happened. I know one African - American & he gets mad if you call him that. He immigrated from Africa but has been naturalized, so he is an American now & says so.

I think freedom of speech is one of the most important Articles in our U.S. Constitution. It's true what you say, but some will label you as a racist.

Whatever happen to speaking the truth, the liberals now label you to shut you up, I say only the weak and ones with no convictions such as themselves are silenced by that tactic.

No one is forced to agree with you, but you have the right to say it.

Funny how liberals try to suppress differences, but at the same time, claim they are the protectors of the U.S. Constitution.

Which we know is a bold face lie, they do try to censor, ban guns, take away property rights, those are 3 of the most basic
articles of foundation in our U.S. Constitution.

It's a shame...and when they do not take the majority I am sure they will claim the election is rigged....like do over in school.
What childish, simplistic and phoniness.

Hello,

Well, first of all, I am amazed he would say anything like this at all, and second, I agree with him 100%. I too am sick and tired of the political correctness. It, and the people who cry foul all the time, are driving me crazy.

Just, "Get over it"....as Don Henely sang about in the
1990's.

Just be blessed you live in America and not Germany, France or China where they have no idea what freedom is.

Hope this helps you... :-)

Go live in the inner city ghetto for a few years. Until you have lived as a poor minority you won't understand. As far as African American alot of there ancestry is unknown because your great great great great great grandfather was kidnapping them from Africa and bring them here. And it's not like he kept track of were in Africa he took them from.
