What type of cell uses cilia and flagella to move around? I really need to know so please, if you know the answer please answer my question! Thanks!

ciliata use cilia to move, such as paramecium caudatum.
flagellata uses flagella to move, such as euglena viridis.

The animal cells use cilia or flagella. Basically, cilia are lots of tiny flagella that move in motions together. Flagellum move in a whip-like motion to propell the cell.

There are two types of cells, eukaryotic and prokaryotic. Eukaryotic cells are usally found in multi-cellular organisms, while prokaryotic cells are usually on their own. Eukaryotic cells are about 10 times the size of a typical prokaryote and can be as much as 1000 times greater in volume. The major difference between prokaryotes and eukaryotes is that eukaryotic cells contain membrane-bound compartments in which specific metabolic activities take place.
Eukaryotes can move using cilia or flagella!

cell is the basic building block of life.2 typs of cel- Plant & Animal cell. animal cel-eukaryotic & prokryotic.
CILIA r smal thread like projections on the surface of cel which helps a prokryotic cell to mov in water etc. & euryotic- to mov the surounding material in a particular dir.
FLAGELLA is a single, long thread like. present on cel's surface & help to mov & change the direction of cel.

animal cells, bacteria uses cillia and flagella.


just in case...
cillia are hairlike parts of a cell which helps it to attach to surfaces
flagella is like a tail which propels the cell
