As an Ex-Marine my definition of war is to kill everything in sight. I learned this from Joshua in the Bible. The God of this universe has taught us how to conduct warfare! Hear me out!! The hippies want us to take into consideration women and children. Why? Historically speaking, humanity has always destyroyed or put into slavery its' enemies. Study the Assyrians! Imagine the U.S. in a situation where they could actually conduct warfare. We stop feeding Muslim nations. We could stop talking... the never ending conversations with our so-called Iraqie allies. We could make progress in Iraq. Sudaam is probably saying that the only way to deal with Iraqies is to be ruthless. Maybe thats how they think!? My viewepoint is to become ruthless, beyond what they think and understand! Put these Iraqies to there knees with misery that they haven't even thought of. This bullshit idea of fighting our enemies while coddding them is a huge mistake!

War is an deadly art form that no longer is respected--especially from the enemy side! Historically speaking, the US does NOT do well fighting "dirty wars", where the enemy are cowards running amok with NO leadership on their side. Forever gone are the days when armies were led by historic leaders, each side bearing their own uniforms--where clear battle lines were drawn and stratagem was your best weapon.

We send our US uniformed troops into the snake pit, where they walk on backward third world streets and can't tell innocent citizenry from the deadly enemy, seething with anti US hatred.

Yes, we could carpet bomb Iraq to dusty rubble, but the cowardly enemy would effortlessly burrow deep into their network of underground tunnels--much like the North VC did with their jungle sub-terrain tunnels: we wouldn't make a dent--and we don't have THAT many 20k pound "shock and awe" bombs anyway. And not to mention the anti-war hatred the liberals would generate against Bush AND our troops.

Sounds like Vietnam, doesn't it?? We'd be wise to hasten our lessons from THAT war; the Iraq War costs $50 BILLION a MONTH!!!

I say it's time we pulled out--but we do so sternly warning the insurgency: "Crank up another Saddam-like regime--and we WILL be back in greater numbers.....and it WILL get UGLY for you.....no matter how many liberal voices protest."

War is our simple affinity to the hate of so called " indominance". All people because of the original split of itself millenia ago feel as if they are stronger when all they are really proving is that they have the ignorance to destroy themselves and corrupt the virtues that "should" govern us. We must all bloody each opther instead of achieving not peace, but stability, peace is irrational. No one person nor any group may achieve peace it is an impossibility. We cannot hope to change because the human race has a love for its own self destruction be3cause which ever side wins believes that it is superior and free when all they have created is more struggle for dominance.

in a dictionary, war is 'a state of usually open and declared armed hostile conflict between states or nations'

in my opinion, war is a way people respond to their problems. war can take place in words, actions, or cat fights. war is an excuse to miscommunication. think about it, if America and Iraq were willing to talk to another, willing to help each other and accept each others help, then battle would not be necessary.

as for Joshua, you might want to think about what God is really trying to teach us. perhaps there is time when war is necessary. such as when Moses was taking His people out of Egypt. that was for God. fighting over gas prices is not.

myself i think war is barbaric , but if someone were attacking me in that way it would only be natural to fight back, and i really don't know if i could hold it together and not kill everything in my path, i guess if i were in a war i would become a barbarian, what a crushing thought,i would feel like i've lost my soul and everything i believed about god would go down the drain ,because my beliefs teach me to love and not to kill or murder, god help us all

"In wars, boy, fools kill other fools for foolish causes. That is enough for anyone to know."

I think that quote sums it up nicely.

Your confused, Iraq is a occupation not a war, big difference. If you came to my country and occupied my land I would be an insurgent and I would remove you.

War is when one COUNTRY goes "bang-bang" at another COUNTRY.

It is NOT when terrorists blow up things. War is between NATIONS. Not non-governmental organizations.
