My baby's father and I are in exactly the same situation! Our baby will be bi-racial as well, and we are trying to cook up a name that will suit us both. We have selected first names, but it's the middle names we are having trouble with, for what goes with Eva (pronounced ay-vuh) or Moses? Our problem is that we don't want our child to grow up with a name that will compromise his or her life in any way (such as a distictly African-American name that could cause conflict in any given situation, or a name that's too feminine which could cause a girl to not be taken seriously later in life), but we want something that shows our personalities as well. All I can say is this: don't give up hope because the perfect name is out there just waiting to be found! God bless!

Try names from a different generation. Josephina Geraldine & Alexandar Angelo are some good 1920s names.
Get a baby book that covers the history of names. You might find some there.

Get out an Atlas and look for unusual but nice names. There are some cool sounding town names around where i live like Avoca, Cazanovia, or Augustana. Just try not to pick something close to where you live.

My boys names are Tristan William and Ashton Edward.
If I have another boy, I will name him Thatcher, and call him Thatch. If I have a girl, I love the name Tatum, Isabel, Skyler, Payton. Good Luck! And don't let anyone talk you out of a name you really love. I did and I regret it!

hi there instead of looking at peoples first names for inspiration look at surnames i ran out of ideas that were individual after my third child until i was watching footy with my husband and heard the name Raden Tallis my older son is called Aiden and it seemed right to call my younger son Tallis then we kept with the uniquicness by adding Zane so we now have Tallis Zane
