I had a ultrasound and the doctor says he belives it is a girl but he is not 100% sure so I came home and done all those crazy test and they all say it is going to be a boy.So I do not no what to think.Any advice out there? My boyfriend really wants a boy.He said he will be depressed if it is a girl this is his first child also but he hopes it is healthy either way.

Trust me...he will love his baby girl. My husband wanted a boy. He is now attached to the hip of a little 2 year old blondie girl.

Most likely it is a girl, those other tests just don't work, they are all 50/50 and not to be used to really find the sex of the baby. Doctor's will not generally say they are 100 percent sure when it comes to the gender because of liabilty. There still is a chance it is a boy, but I'd put my money on the doctor's opinion rather than any other test. The only test that can tell is an ultrasound. If you want to be completely sure, ask for another ultrasound, you'll have to pay for it, but it might be worth it for peace of mind.

Good luck. I get to find out the sex at the end of November. I'm hoping for a girl, but I have a premonition it's a boy.

My technitian said girl, all my home test offline and from magazines and ole wives tales, all pointed to a boy, even the toilet bowl cleaner one. But 6 months later out pops a girl. The techs have been doing it for years, they are usually right, and leagally cannot say for sure 100% boy or girl, it is only a "hint"

Tell your boyfriend to chill out and that your having a baby and to be happy, and also let him know he makes the sex of the baby so don't be piss at you but at his self and not the little girl your having. I would go by my doctor and not everyone telling you all of these old tales.

id say your having a girl, i had my gender scan at 17+ weeks and got told its a boy although they cant be 100% i think they say that coz they have to cover their self in case they make a mistake and get sued!! ( sadly that's the world we live in )
you could see clearly mines a boy.

as for your partner i think you ll find most men would love a boy the 1st time but trust me i had 2 girls before i had my son and my hubby couldn't have been happier, it will be his little princess
after i had my second daughter
i laid there crying telling my hubby how sorry i was!!! but when i looked he was crying ........tears of joy coz she was so cute and sweet etc... so i think you ll be just fine.

Well I think you should stop worring about what the sex of the baby is and think of a healthy one instead. No matter what it is i'm sure when your boyfriend sees this little creation he will be overjoyed with love and pride.

Congradulations and Best Wishes!
