There is no way to communicate. In the room there is a button. If pushed, the button will save the life of your loved one, but will instantly kill you. Same goes for the loved one: if they push it, you survive, but they die.

It would be between me and my husband and I think that both of us would end up pushing it at the same time. The minute we entered the room cuz we're soul mates and we would wanna save eachother 1st :)
