by friends brother is gay and its fine with me, as far as i am concered its a choice he made and thats ok with me but she talks about him like he is sick and one day will get better and it bothers me. so i was wondering so you think people are "Born gay or Choose" to be gay? would you concider it a "lifestyle that people choose or no they are born that way??"

Born, but choose to express those feelings. There are five orientations, but demand equal rights for only homosexual behavior. The same demand is not made for those born with an attraction to animals or children. Pedophiles was declared an orientation in the same manner homosexuals were, by a vote at a conference of the American Psychological Assoc.
The one on pedophiles was in San Diego in 2001.

They are born that way. This has been studied for years now from a psychological aspect. One of the more interesting things about it is that if asked, 99% of gays say that they wish that they could be heterosexual. This is due mainly to the social outcast aspect of being gay. The mainstream still frowns on it. I would suggest that this is because we tend to fear anything that we do not understand. I am sorry to say that Man on Man still gives me the creeps. The weird thing is, that hetero men are usually turned on by the girl on girl thing. Strange world is it not?

I have had many friends who were gay. I don't understand people thinking that they would "choose" to be gay. Sexuality is not like choosing which pair of jeans to wear that day. As a friend explained to me one day....."What do they think, I woke up one morning and said...geee, what should I do today. I know, I think i'll turn gay!"
