Yes definately. The Smiths are the greatest band ever. Shame that Morrisey's solo output has been crap. Johnny Marr's stuff as well has not been that good. But together, Johnny & Morrisey where a match made in heaven.

They are definitely one of the greatest bands ever, but I must admit that people on here not knowing them makes me feel really old...

Yep, but shame Morrissey isn't quite as good on his own. And The Cure are also another greatest band ever - but I think we can have two greatest bands ever.

I wasn't into smiths kind of music-though it's horses for courses.
Led Zepplin are the ones to rock me-give them a try.

Absolutely, changed the way that I thought about music when I was younger.
The only band that could (and still can) cheer me up by listening to poor Mozza's sorrows.
He can sometimes still hit it on his own, but with Mr Marrr by his side they were unstoppable.
