Every child is different but mine could hold their bottle at around five or six months. If you'd like him/her to hold their bottle let them have it near them for a while. As they play with it they'll learn faster. I can't even believe there was a time when he couldn't hold his! We switched him over to the sippy the minute he could hold the bottle though to get it out of the way.

5 to 6 months is when they start trying but i say by 7 months your baby should be holding her bottle independently

i think of my daughter in all risk began between 5 and six months, however the daycare additionally commented that she became the only toddler that became doing that. (i can not quite say for particular what she became doing by way of fact I breastfed so she had bottles when I wasn't there.) by 8 months she became ingesting from a sippy cup and tilting her head returned to try this, so someplace in there she began tilting her head returned. She's continually been extraordinarily self reliant minded approximately desirous to feed herself, nevertheless.

I didn't let my girls hold the bottle because I was told that it was easier to ween them from it. I'm thinking around 6 months the would have been able to, if I'd let them. :)
