MSG allergic? I have had the same problem, but since I removed MSG from my diet the problem went away. My hand and feet went numb even when I was awake.
Do you smoke? Stop it then...Smoking is very bad for the circulation in your hands and feet.
If you slept in a chair, do you still have the same problem?
Are you diabetic? Are you sure? Been tested? Are you overweight?
Sometimes a bed will cause this problem. Try adding an inch foam mattress pad to the top of the bed.
You didn't give enough in your questions to narrow down the problem. I gave a list to give you some leads. Talk to a doctor, but remember this... Most health problems are strictly diet related. Look at your diet...

I am thinking that you mean that your hands and feet feel numb when you wake up. Your question is a good one. We all get strange feelings and sensations in our bodies from time to time. You don't say how long this has been going on. I suggest that if you have experienced this numbness in your hands and feet for more than 2 weeks, see a doctor. I would! Your peace of mind is worth it.

Well it might be the position that you are sleeping in. Sometimes when you sleep on your stomach you might tense up or depending on your body you might have a pintched nerve in you back or neck. Give it a little bit of time try to relax and see what happens.

numb? You might have slept on them. If not, see a doctor, for your circulation might be slow...
