Honey. Find a new place to work. STAT.

First of all, tanning is not good for your skin. Tanning damage will show up on your face in the future, and you are not going to like it one bit.

An employer cannot enforce mandatory tanning, even if you work at a tanning salon. Get the heck out of there - and call the Labor Board in your state to report the employer.

You should not ask your employer to help you pay -- you should get the heck out of there now.

Your boss has no right to demand that you go to a tanning salon. Tanning salons are dangerous to your health. They can cause skin cancer; and are said to be more of a risk than being in the sun, especially if you are fair skinned and blond. You have the right to be the color you are, and to be proud of it. If your boss continues his demands, take him to court for race discrimination.

You should inform them that that is sexual harrassment. I take it that you are a woman right? I don't think representing the company in public is his motive. He wants a beautiful woman that meets all his physical requirement to step into his office everyday. If that really is the case then you won't have to pay a dime or get yourself a tan.

oh yes definetly. They have no right whatso ever to make you go to tan saloon. And if they asked you and you said yes, they should offcourse pay for it. ppl that work have certain rights and a boss making someone go tan because he thinks it makes the company look better it sick in the brain.
.. unless offcourse this is a stripclub we're talking about(still he has no right to make you even if), but I dont think it is, so he has no right.
that like saying," oh you work here at this cigarette company, so I want you to start smoking cause it looks good for the company if we're all smokin.." think about it, it sint such a stupid example.!

I can't imagine what kind of company you are too pale to represent. Are you selling Afro Sheen products or something? Yes, I would request they pay for it ALL if they want you to tan.

First you should tell him to kiss your white a s s !!!

Then you should tell him that if HE is unhappy with your appearance and changes need to be made (as long as you are willing) the bill gets picked up by him!! What a piece of crap this guy must be.
