You're not a Gemini, you're a person. Just pay attention to what you say and do and how it is perceived by other people. If people don't take you seriously, it shouldn't take long to figure out why. If it's something you're doing, and you change your behavior, it could still take a long time for other people to change their perception of you.
Look at the questions on Yahoo Answers. Which would you take seriously and why?
I'm certain it has nothing to do with astronomy and space.

Actually, although many people ridicule the idea of being born during a certain time of the year having an influence on your personality, there is no evidence to say that it isn't possible. Most people do not understand that much about the universe and yet make all sorts of snap judgements about such things. The fact of the matter is that the Earth's position to the rest of the universe is never the same and the amount and types of energies that bombard it is constantly ebbing and flowing and changing. It is quite possible that when and where you are born can have all sorts of influences on who you are and how you react to others or how they react to you.
That being said, you are probably not taken seriously because you lack confidence in yourself as a person to assert your opinions as more than whimsy. If you take yourself seriously, and can focus your thoughts onto an idea, people will probably take you more seriously.

No one takes you seriously because you post crap about Astrology in a science forum, where it doesn't belong.
Posting about being a gemeni here could also be indicative of a general lack of intelligence, or inability to express your intelligence (if it is average or above) due to language barriers, silly mistakes, or ditziness.
People, on the whole being perceptive creatures will pick up on your lack of intelligence, or trouble showing what intelligence you may have, and will write off most of what you say for utter garbage.
Thinking about what you are saying, rather than just saying it, and doing your hardest to use every bit of your brain that you can will help. Also, talking less in general will help. I have found that the less you talk, and the more you listen, the more likely people are to pay attention to what you do say, when you bother to say it. Keeping quiet also gives you time to reflect on what you want to say, and deciding whether what you are about to say is intelligent, or idiotic... like it was in this case.
Astrology is not the same as Astronomy, and this question belongs in a different forum.
But I hope that helps.

No one should take you seriously if you really think being a Gemini has anything to do with it.

First of all, you posted in the wrong section, at least based on our current knowledge of sub-atomic science. But, then again, i''ve heard of experiments where cosmic rays have influenced the development of chromosones during the initial stages of a person's life, which, theoretically could lead to similar characteristics or personality traits of the persons being impacted. But until there's more data and modeling of the cosmic influences, please stay in the Astrology section..thanks.
