Why don`t you remove the nightstand from your room or bedroom and have someone do it for you. All the paint removers I know are harsh fumes..

lol, you mean nooks and crannies! not crooks and nannies! hehe, anyway, you can get a great product called citrustrip, it smells like oranges and is safe to use for kids and pets as well, you can get it at home depot, and just brush it on and scrape it off, works quickly too! good luck!
