Someone (do not remember who, asimov perhaps?) said something like: "I do not know whether or not there is life beyond the earth, but either way I look at it, it is incredible." And it is... but if you've studied astronomy you'd know all of the random chances it took to make life here on earth and you'd believe it were impossible. But it DID happen here, and when you look up at the stars and realize that you cannot even see a small part of what is really there, I'd say yes, the chances are very good that there is at least some sort of life out there.

Yes, I believe there is life outside of earth. The criteria for life cannot be limited solely to intelligent life. Even if that life was a single-celled organism, it would still be considered a living thing.
Also, this universe is vast. If there is intelligent life out there, maybe these beings haven't advanced far enough to contact us. Heck, they could still be living in the Stone Age on their planet.

Certainly I do believe life exists outside of earth. Think about it, we discover new species of life on earth all the time, living and surviving in earth conditions we didnt think were possible for supporting life. As vast and diverse as the universe is...itd be nothing short of ignorant to claim we are the only life in this universe.

Always have. We are not positioned as a planet in a way that allows us to be the only existence of some sort of life. I am left to grasp, what I believe is already a known fact amongst some men of planet school (earth), and our kids, kids will also know the truth, someday...

Sometimes I'm not sure if that question shouldn't be a slam dunk "Hello of course" It does seem so obvious given the shear
size of the Universe. Then I remember how indoctrinated we all
are with our various religions, and other social scare me in to my
proper place concepts. When you start worrying about all that stuff it makes you wonder if there is really any life on the earth.

There has to be, we have seen to many UFOs and documented them, not to believe that there are other life forms out there.
