Nope. Never. I know it might be a tad judgmental, but I work my *** off and I'd rather not have it being wasted in that way.

Yes, as it's none of my business what they choose to buy. Life is about choices, and every time I give someone money I'm giving them a choice. They can spend it on drugs or alcohol or they can use it to try and makes some changes. Either way, as soon as it leaves my hand it is no longer my money to spend and therefore no longer my business.
Besides, I spend my money on drugs all the time.

Depends, most of the time you see the same homeless people on the same corner, true...
I feel if you give them money, your doing something good for them, now, id they CHOOSE to go buy beer or drugs with it, thats on them, you did a good thing regardless, just to help them.

I give them money when I have cash on me, knowing that they most likely won't buy drugs with it. Most homeless folks are decent people who are on rough times.

as long as the homeless man didn't lie to me. If he straight up asks me for money for some booze. Sure i'll give it to him, their lives are too hard, without some person passing judgement on them. But, that's just me.

Yes cuz when you give to charity how do you really know if there using it for the reasons that your giving???? Giving is just that Giving, I don't believe I have a right to decide how it should be spent once it leaves my hand. As long as I know that I gave from my heart that's all that matters to me

I bought a homeless guy food and a cup of tea. He was so grateful, I felt really good.
I too was worried about where he would spend any money I gave him, and felt this was an excellent option.xxx

A little wine for a wino that has had a hard life. What's so bad about that? Some city programs give out wine so they won't beg and to keep them from having withdrawal caused illnesses.
I have a friend that was director of mental health in my city. He said it is harder to quit alcohol than heroine.
