Hey anyone know why I will get 2 directories shown on my Ipod for the same artist? for example I just added another Eminem song onto Itunes...the spelling is exactly the same and everything but when it transfered onto my ipod.....I look at it through my Artists tab and i have 2 directories for eminem....if its not the spelling than what could be causing this problem? hope you guys can help me out.

i have the same problem. maybe you put them in different albums. try putting all your eminems together, regardless of the album.

It might be a glitch in the iPod. That is prone to happen. If Eminem isn't spelled differently the other time, then it is a glitch. I don't think it would really matter. What generation iPod do you have? If its lower than 4th it probably is a glitch. The same thing happened to me with my mini.

if you search on itunes for all of your music by the same artist select it all then get info and change the artist to be spelled the same way. sometimes even if it looks the same you entered them differently
